With university life coming to a halt as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, academics look to invest in technologies for social distancing. Working with Associate Professor Hamish MacDougall we created an online virtual campus that allowed users to explore virtual worlds and over 100 videos focusing on innovation in research, education and collaboration.
The map was created from architectural data provided by the uni, with the potential for every building to be selected. A custom parser was written to parse data from a CSV so colleges with no programming experience could load new data into the virtual campus.
