On November 21st 2015 the ISS (international space station) passed perfectly over the moon and was viewable over a very thin strip of area in brisbane.
Normally imaging objects in low earth orbit is very difficult because you have to have a setup that allows the camera / telescope to precisely follow the object to prevent motion blur.
But because I knew that the ISS would perfectly transit the moon I simply had to point my telescope at the moon and wait 🙂
